We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic  FP&A Director to lead our financial planning and analysis function. This role will be instrumental in driving financial visibility, supporting strategic decision-making, and optimizing business performance. The Director of FP&A will be based in our Madrid office and will work closely with senior leadership, providing insights that influence key business decisions and long-term financial planning.

👉 Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Strategic Analysis: Provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and growth strategies.
• KPI & Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial and operational success, identifying areas for improvement.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to drive financial accountability and ensure alignment between financial performance and operational strategy.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario analysis, pricing strategies, and business case evaluations.
• Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Risk Management: Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive risk mitigation strategies are in place.

👉 Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, BI tools, Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (e.g., scale-ups, multinational corporations, private equity-backed firms).
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with a problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
