Backend Developer
CrowdFarming® is Europe’s leading online marketplace, directly connecting farmers with consumers. We develop the technology and logistics needed to provide consumers with access to the largest selection of organic and regenerative products, straight from the people who grow them.
Our mission is to build the world’s most sustainable food supply chain, ensuring that farmers receive a fair price for their work and that consumers enjoy fresh produce that travels 75% less time than those found in supermarkets.
Since our launch in 2017, we have grown to collaborate with more than 300 farmers across Europe, bringing organic and regenerative farming closer to thousands of consumers.
We’re currently looking for someone to join our IT team as a Backend Developer, who will be involved in our web technology projects.
✅ Your profile:
- You have more than 5 years of experience in programming, mainly in PHP (Symfony) environments.
- Experience in backend architecture design.
- Experience with SQL Databases (Postgresql).
- Familiar with GIT as version control software.
- Knowledge of various communication methods (REST, WebSockets, etc.).
- Experience with Cloud systems, mainly AWS.
- Application of development best practices and participation in code reviews.
- Motivation and proactivity since we are a dynamic growing team.
- A good level of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, as the technical team operates in an international context.
- You live in Madrid and are open to a hybrid work model
